Reliable

I take my Inspire to all sorts of locations for filming, from forests to industrial sites. This launch pad has saved me more than once from getting mud or dust on the lens. It’s easy to set up, and the bright orange makes it visible from the air.

Fantastic landing mat - exceeded all expectations!

I’ve thought I could get away with a cheap take off mat but the inspire 2 made the edges of the mat flick up which as you can imagine when trying to land is a bit worrying. I bought this because its weighted down around the edges which stops the problem with the prop wash, also means you don’t need to bother staking it into the ground. The mat is a good size, gives you that bit of extra space to land especially on those gusty days or if you have an audience and the pressure is on to try and land bang on the H. Due to the design it’s a little heavier than the cheaper mats but its also double sided orange on one and blue on the other, the blue side actually works pretty well as I never thought I would use it but the orange can blend into the winter browns.

Good quality, sturdy landing pad

I use this with my Matrice 300 RTK for survey work, and it’s been great for keeping dust and dirt out of the motors. The 5-foot size is perfect for larger drones but can be a bit bulky to carry around, especially if you’re moving between sites frequently. That said, it does fold down fairly well once you get the hang of it. Definitely makes take-offs and landings smoother on rough ground.
